09/04/2009 - Truancy at Schools
2009 in New Zealand is the year of scrutinising the education system. Earlier this year, for example, the minister of education ordered accurate truancy figures for the past few years. If those figures could speak, they would point out the link between applying Learning Styles and reducing the rate of truancy. How? Contact us to find out.

19/02/2009 - Violence in schools - They need LSA!
Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate and Selwyn College are only two of the New Zealand schools receiving media attention this year following serious concerns about the safety of students and quality of teaching at the school. Sad, really, when help is at hand (learning styles are designed to prevent misbehaviour and underachievement). Read more here:

04/02/2009 - The danger of applying learning styles...
... without proper training (source unknown): A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, 'Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face.' 'Yes,' the class said. 'Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?' A little fellow shouted, 'Cause your feet ain't empty.' :-)
