  • 14/10/2009 - School standards too low

Standards in too many state schools are "woefully low", warns the boss of Tesco, who is also an education adviser to Gordon Brown. Meanwhile, Sir Terry Leahy says the Government should simplify the education system. Barbara Prashnig, however, claims you can solve many learning problems by finding out how every individual student learns best: http://www.creativelearningcentre.com/download/Article-10-False-Beliefs-About-Learning_26.html

  • 15/07/2009 - Black-White Education Gap Persists

Learning Styles can help! According to research, the gap in basic math and reading skills between black and white elementary school students has narrowed since the early 1990s, however, the difference increases again by the time students reach middle school (read more here: http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=8081063&page=1). Learning Styles address this issue by levelling the learning field across cultures and genders. Email [email protected] for details.
  • 15/07/2009 - Postponement of LS conference in Innsbruck 09

(A very attractive time for a skiing holiday!) The exact date will be advised mid August. However, the 3-day Learning Styles Certification Programme is going ahead as planned between 1 - 3 September in a replacement location at the University. As a small compensation, all LS participants will have the chance to participate in a round table discussion about Learning Styles with international experts free of charge on Friday morning.
